Here’s how to create classic ribbon curls
1. Prep hair with curl hold spray and section
2. Starting at the nape, place styler at root facing downwards
3. Rotate a full turn and glide to the ends
4. Repeat up the head
5. Comb through with detangling comb
step one: Prep hair with curl hold spray and section
Start by generously spraying the hair with ghd curl hold spray, then section your hair with the ghd tail comb. Clip the top section of hair away and leave a section loose at the nape.
step two: Starting at the nape, place styler at root facing downwards
Take a 2-3 inch section of hair from the nape and place the ghd platinum® styler at the root facing in a downwards direction.
step three: Rotate a full turn and glide to the ends
Rotate the styler one full turn to create the curls and gently glide through to the hair ends.
step four: Repeat up the head
Ensuring you direct the ghd platinum® styler towards the center of the head, continue to curl the hair moving up the head. Unclip the top section of hair as you go along to add in extra hair.
step five: Comb through with detangling comb
To create the classic ribbon curl finish, work through your hair with the ghd detangling comb to loosen your curls.
